Korda Basix Coated Hooklink
The BASIX Coated Hooklink is a soft, supple coated braided material that can be used for many different presentations of bottom baits, wafters and pop-ups. Both the outer coating and the core of the material have a subtle “camo green” color that ensures that the material on the bottom blends in beautifully. The material will be nice and straight without having to steam it and has good anti-tangle properties. The coating can also be easily removed to create a smooth hinge point for more movement in the hooklink. The material is easy to tie without damaging the outer coating and in combination with the well-known fishing knots you can make a sturdy leader.
The BASIX Coated Hooklink comes in 18lb and 25lb versions and is spooled on a handy 10m spool. This is enough to make a lot of rigs and have a lot of fun!
