Fox Captive Back Weights are the only ones with a string attached. This means you'll never lose these top weights. After casting/uncasting your main line, clip these top weights onto the line in front of your rod tip, then attach them to your rod pod/rod rest from the string. When you strike, the top weight will easily release, allowing you to reel it in on the string and reuse it.
